How to keep your hands looking young?
Just like your face and body, your hands need to be exfoliated too. Use a sugar or salt scrub every two to three weeks to slough away the dead skin cells. Your hands will be smoother and softer. Use a moisturizing soap and make it a habit to immediately put on hand lotion after washing your hands. If you keep a pump bottle of lotion next to your sink in the bathroom and kitchen, you can easily apply your moisturizing lotion and keep skin hydrated. When spending time in the sun, don't forget to apply sunscreen to your hands too!
If you eat a lot of oily fish or take fish oil supplements, your hands will feel softer and smoother. Sardines, mackerel, fresh tuna and other oily fish contain essential acids - the good fats. EFAs keep your skin moisturized and reduce inflammation. They also do double duty because they're great for your heart! Whether you do it at home or head to the salon, a manicure will keep your cuticles moisturized and your nails healthy. Healthy, well manicured nails will make your hands look younger too.
Fungus Nail
A fungus nail is a unsightly condition which can be difficult to treat.Fungus nail usually begins towards the far end of the nail. It may start with patches of white or yellow discoloration. If fungus nail is left untreated, it will proceed to the base of the nail. It will attack the nail root (matrix) and cause the nail to grow very thick and deformed. The big toe is usually the first nail to be affected with fungus nail. It can spread to adjacent toenails. In rare cases, fungus nail will also affect the skin surrounding the nails. If fungus nail is not treated for along period of time, the nail will become very brittle. It easily gets vitiate and its spreads.
A fungus nail is abominable that's why many people don't like getting a pedicure when they have a fungus because they don't want to contaminate them. Funguses easily spread out when other people touch it. That is how it goes to the other toe nails also. When they are going to get a pedicure they have to throw away the supplies after they use it becuase it will still get on it. Some people don't care and they still go and to their pedicure. They get it because they don't take care of their nails.
Colorful Nails
Wrap the tips of your nails with polish. When applying polish, be sure to bring it over the front edge of the nail and slightly under the tip. This helps prevent chipping. If the polish chips, it's best to remove the paint from the nail and start over. If you don't have time, dip your finger in nail polish remover and smooth over the chipped area and re-apply a topcoat. Dip your finger in nail polish remover and use it to smooth the surface, repainting with a topcoat. dip your finger in nail polish remover and use it to smooth the surface, repainting with a topcoat. The colorful nails used to be vogue because now they moved to different styles.
Natural Nails
Many things determine nail growth, and each fingernail will grow at different rates. Heredity and health determine how fast nails will grow, although the growth slows as we age. Nails grow faster in summer than in winter, and faster during pregnancy. After pregnancy, the rate drops back to normal. Age also affects the growth rate with nail growth peaking between 10 and 14 years and slowly declining after age 20.
Some of the things that slow nail growth include being paralyzed, poor circulation, malnutrition, serious infections, psoriasis, and certain medications. Many factors can cause changes in the nails, resulting in lowered levels of strength and flexibility. Excessive hand washing or using household cleaning solutions without protection can rob our skin and nails of vital oil and moisture, resulting in split, peeling nails. The nails that are healthy don't break that easily. They are hard but not to hard.
Men Pedicure
Men pedicures get most men thinking the wrong way once they hear the name. Many men believe that pedicures are strictly a female thing. Nothing could be further from the truth! A pedicure is simply the care of the feet to avoid complications and to make them look their best. Since we all have feet, pedicures are in no way restricted to only females. Getting a mens pedicure doesn't include color because it is only virile. It is only for men.
No guy wants polish on their toes, unless they are into the whole cross dressing thing. If not, only use a nice clear polish/enamel on the toenails during a men pedicure. This will give the nails a nice healthy shine. Some men though even get uptight about having clear polish on their nails, they don’t want anything even remotely close to colored nail polish applied anywhere near their nails. If this is the case, buffing the nails can also give a nice shine without the need for clear nail polish. Be careful not to buff too deep and make the nails thin and weak. Also a diluted solution of water and chlorine bleach not only helps to fight fungus but can give the nails a nice shine as well. Bleach is very corrosive though, so be sure it is diluted. If used to fight fungus it has to be repeatedly done over a long period. can be extremely beneficial. This is most likely a major reason that a lot of guys have problems with their feet, such as ingrown toenails. The majority of males however don’t begin to start getting men pedicures until something goes wrong.
My friends nails!
She had over three hours to choose her nail designs. When they were done with my nails they started doing her nails. She had a tough choice because their was different types of zebra designs. She had to think about if for about an extra 15 minutes. She finally decided and chose this one.
When they were doing her nails she decided to go for short nails because her nails are so wiry that she was scared to break them before prom. Her nails only too about an hour because she didn't have crazy designs on. There was about a 100 rhinestones on each hand. They were all placed one at a time. It was so crazy how they came out because she did it so good in such little time.

My nails!
It was my first time getting nails done. I went to the shop and I had to make a hard decision on which nails I wanted. She had over a 100 different designs. It took me about 30 minutes to make my decision. I chose some nails that were really pretty and expensive. They only charged me half because my aunt knew the person. She was virtuoso because she learned in only three months.
When they stared doing my nails it felt kind off weird because I never had nails on before. While the lady was doing them she was talking to me about all the different styles and the prices. And wow they are expensive. It was weird how they do it because they only use the tip of the nail to put on the fake nail, after they fill it in with this one item that evens them out. After you choose the one that you want and that is how it comes out. This is a picture of my nails. My nails came out to be witless because they were all different color, and it had different desings.

Rhinestone Nails
Spread the rhinestones out on a paper plate. Make sure that they are in a single layer and are facing up. This will make it easier to pick them up when you go to apply them because they are wee and you can easily loose them. Paint your nails with the color nail polish. Apply 1 thin coat of the color. Use only enough to coat the entire nail. Dip the tip of the toothpick into the clear nail polish to wet it. Press the toothpick gently onto the top of one rhinestone to pick it up. This will take a little practice so keep extra toothpicks around. Do not get too mush clear nail polish on the toothpick because that will make it hard to get the rhinestone off of the toothpick.
Place the rhinestone in the position on the nail where you would like it to be. Gently press down to release the rhinestone from the toothpick. This works best when the color nail polish is still wet.Repeat the same pattern for all of the rhinestones that you would like to apply to your nails. Apply a thin layer of clear nail polish to set the stones in place. Allow the polish to dry completely. Enjoy your sparkly nails.

French Pedicure
Your toenails are often cut and shaped before being soaked; however, some salons do this after soaking. Large nail clippers and Emory boards are used to trim and file your toenails to a nice shape. You can select the length and shape you wish (rounded or squared), if you want to. Your feet will be soaked in a large basin of warm water, often with a small vibration to it. Your feet should soak for at least five minutes before they start work on your cuticles. One foot is removed from the water, and a cuticle lotion is applied to the edge of the toenails. An orange stick (a long wand with a squared off end) is used to push back the cuticles from the toenail. A Cuticle trimmer (which resembles a tiny metal wirecutter) is used to trim off the dead skin around the toenail edges. No live skin is cut.A little dot of oil is applied and rubbed into each toe, and the foot is returned to the basin of warm water to soak. The other foot is removed from the water, and the cuticles trimmed. The second foot is returned to the water.
Both feet are removed from the water, and patted dry with a clean towel. The nails are buffed to a nice smooth shine with a nail buffer. This step may occur in conjunction with the nail trimming but is often saved until near the end. Lotion is applied to each leg and foot, and rubbed in with a massaging motion. The toenails are cleaned with a final drip of acetone (nail polish remover) on a clean cotton ball to remove any oil or lotion. The feet are patted totally dry, and cotton or foam forms are inserted between the toenails to keep your toes apart. Then you can choose the color of the nail polish that you might want and that is how a pedicure is done. There is many different types of colors that you can add because it is volatile you can choose different styles.
